Community leaders, Naguabo Somos Todos and the Daguao Socio-Cultural Development Committee commemorated 'Corporate Social Responsibility Week' to thank area merchants for their humanitarian support to communities and organizations.

The communities made 56 nominations for the Sol de Naguabo award. The Brillembourg Capriles Group was recognized by the communities of Daguao and Cubuy.
The winner was Almacenas Maizales, a grocery store in the community of Maizales in Naguabo.

El Fanduqueo is an event organized since 2015 by Rey Dávila on the Naguabo beach to offer skateboarding and surfing clinics for children, as well as music and a Volkswagen collectors' meet. For three years the Brillembourg Capriles Group has paid for the music and the construction of the ramp.

We met with community leaders from El Duque and Cubu and with the organization Naguabo Somos Todos to address the critical situation of stray animals in the town through a low-cost vaccination and sterilization clinic.
